1947 Willys CJ2A

This Jeep was brought to us to restore on October 5, 2008 for Bill Standley who lives in Missouri. This Jeep will be restored back to it's original condition and will be painted with the green body and yellow rims paint scheme.

This project as we went progressed became more and more peculiar. Someone had previously tried to make a rock climber out of this Jeep but we found that the frame was not a CJ2A frame. We noticed this when we tried to install the original springs. We went back to the original pictures and you can see the frame is longer because the wheels don't match up with the wheel wells or front fenders. So we had a CJ2A frame here so we started all over sandblasting it and are now using the correct frame and everything went together just fine on this frame.

This Jeep was a combination of a CJ2A body, CJ5 frame, and a CJ3B engine.
